Our 120V/240V Home Backup Power System is a back-up power option for a large portion of your home's electrical circuits. It is intended to be wired to an electrical sub-panel using a licensed electrician, and can provide 6000 W of continuous power with 18,000 W 20 second surge capability via a robust split phase inverter. We pair this with a battery bank size of your choosing, along with the DC cabling and fuses needed to connect the batteries to the inverter. This system can be used as a separate backup option you manually turn on when you need it, or as an uninterruptible power supply that monitors your grid power and automatically switches over to providing power when the grid fails.

Depending on your average power usage, a 24 V, 200 Ah battery bank can provide 2-4 days of power to run a refrigerator, furnace blower fan, sump pump, and some lighting. As your personal average power demands increase from this baseline, the runtime will decrease accordingly. AC wiring and sub panel are not included, and will vary with installation details that will be finalized by the licensed electrician you retain to complete the installation. This kit is designed as a backup power option for any homeowner; it does not require an electric vehicle or related EV inverter kit accessories.
